Hi,

I'm trying to setup an SFTP Download Task, and it fails all the time. Works fine when accessing same SFTP server using Filezilla.

Current Task Setting:

Command Type: Download
Connection: SFTP Server Connection
Credential: No Credential

Remote File Filter:
Folder: /
Include file mask: *

Destination:
c:\temp

Regular Exception Log:
Exception in Task: No file(s) downloaded

Extended Exception Log:
Exception in Task: System.Exception: No file(s) downloaded

VC version: 7.1.9
Build: 17191

Note: We are currently evaluating this product, and this features is a must have.

I think that the folder you want to access may not really be /. Try using the built in SFTP explorer under the Tools menu. Navigate to the folder you want to download from then copy the path you see in the path toolbar as the source folder.

Now, when you have done that you go to the filter tab of the Task and test the filter to make sure that the right files are identified for download.

Still didn't work. Doesn't matter if I'm querying the root of the SFTP or a specific folder, I have tried both. Note "FTP" Download works fine, it doesnt work when connecting to a SFTP server.

Please add screenshots of the Explorer window (when viewing that folder) and Task window.

Has the actual Job failed, as from your notes it says: No file(s) downloaded

If you have this option ticked in the Task's 'On Error' settings it will indicate that the job has 'Failed' when there are no files to download.

Try uploading a file to the FTP server, then run this job to download it.
Or, untick the 'No File(s) copied' option for the Download Task:
