Hi, I am trying to send an email to 'email-to-fax-gateway'. THe format of the email address used is like the following:

Quote:

/fax=12345678/name=mycompanyname/<rfax@mycompany.com>

When I use the above as a recipient address it doesn't work as it sems that visualcron sends an email to rfx@mycompany.com instead of the whole address. The same address if used within a regular email client (gmail in my case) works fine.

Any hints?

It does not sound like a normal setup. VisualCron sends directly to the SMTP server. Do you really do that with your setup? Sounds like some kind of special application or printer is installed.

Correct, there is a special app installed, called rfax, but as said I am sending email through Amazon SES and sending to the same address from gmail works fine.

Through the gmail web page or your email client?

It simply sounds like you have have the email: rfax@mycompany.com

And then from name: /fax=12345678/name=mycompanyname/

Right now it sounds like you are mixing it both in the from email.
