We have a site that uses Windows Authentication. I created an HTTP task to load a website (basica connectivity test then take action based on return code).
The credentials are specified and correct - the HTTP task just seems not to pass it as a windows authneticated login - even if I specify in IE Security Zone settings that the website should accept automatic login using current creds (Intranet Zone)
We see this in the IIS log:
2014-03-20 14:47:13 W3SVC2 <SERVERNAME> <IP ADDRESS> GET /userhomepage.aspx - 80 <DOMAIN>\<USERNAME> IP ADDRESS> HTTP/1.1 VisualCron - - <SERVERNAME> 302 0 0 378 821 15
2014-03-20 14:47:13 W3SVC2 <SERVERNAME> <IP ADDRESS> GET /userhomepage.aspx - 80 - <IP ADDRESS> HTTP/1.1 VisualCron - - <WEBSITEURL> 401 2 5 1566 184 0
and this in the task Stderr output:
<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Strict//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-strict.dtd">
