Apologies if there is actually a way to retrieve this information, but I haven't seen it so far.

We'd like the ability to see when changes were made to a job or task and by whom. This would be incredibly useful for keeping watch on servers which are managed by several users at once.

This could be very useful to output who runs the job to a variable or something. We have a large group that uses visualcron and looking through old logs isn't very efficient if we need to audit who ran a job.

I would love to be able to include in the notification after a job runs who executed the job. Thanks!

Hi,

An audit log is nice, but a good audit should log
- all changes made to an object;
- every action done in the client (manual / API);
- when which creadentials are used;

All the Global server objects should be monitored.
And what about the actions done by the tools in the Tools menu. This should not be forgotten.

I agree on most things but "when which Credentials are used" will probably generate too much log and take up everything. Many customers runs many Tasks containting scripts with second interval.

What do you want to achieve here?

I was thinking as an autitor and thought that he wants to know which user credentials are used and performing which actions?
I agree it will generate a lot information. (almost) Every task has is using some sort of credentials. This might be an overkill with information.

When we assum that the jobs/tasks made are ok, it's important to know if a job/task is ran by a manual intervention. So I think all the work done by a human on the client should be logged.

Sure, the actual user that is doing the changes will be logged. I thought you meant "Credentials" as logging whenever a Credential is used.

I accept that it is somewhat covered / overlapping in Job and Job Run but If you look at what makes up a job we are auditing most <Tabs> but I think we need good coverage of Triggers ( . . . . it is a 1:n relationship to Job).
