Unfortunately I can't set a variable after reading a text file.

But it worked in former versions and I still can see the preview of its content in the variable screen.
I have split the process into two different tasks.
At first i read a txt-file managed by the "read a data"-object, after that I used the task "set variable", which is directly addressed to the Output of the previous task.
I use a popup to show the content. But the variable is empty.

What is the problem, that the Variable is not set or that you cannot show it? You said you were able to preview it. Please add some screenshots of the Variable and Popup Task.

it seems I solved it by myself. I just forgot to tick: "Translate value to constant in Variable when running"
