I would like to have a task that can split a file into n number of files and a variable setting to specify how many rows that is maximum in each file.

It might be good to specify how each row is ended with carriage return and newline ( \r\n) for windows files and something else for Linux files (\r i think).

A file mask for the new files might also be good.

Hi Peter,

What you can do in the mean time is using an external tool like this one: filesplit  to do it with a command execute task.
