I would like to know if it would be possible to assign a trigger to a specific task within a job.

I have many like tasks from vendors that need to run at different times with different parameters.
I would like to enclose all the like tasks in one job and find a way to execute specific tasks at different intervals from within the same job.

The reason for this, is being able to collapse a whole vendor on screen, because the tasks are specific to that vendor.
The tasks execute the same program, but parameters control the upload processes in the application.

Your help would be appreciated.

The reason for adding this to the requests area is because I could not find anything in the help or forums explaining how to do this.

Thanks

I think you should use Groups instead and Group Jobs in different vendors.

Are groups controlled by adding another host?

hi all

Its perhaps not immediatwly obvious, but when you define (or edit) a job, in the top right of the main job settings dialogue you can either define a new or select an existing group by simply keying in a suitable group name.

I find they are invaluable, in fact, essential and to be honest it would be nice to see another level of grouping, perhaps something like 'Set' or 'Class'?

Cheers
