I have 7.0.6 installed on my DEV server. When logged onto that server, if a task starts or stops, the pop up boxes that normally show in the bottom right corner of the screen are multiplied and shown all over the screen. Each message is shown 25 times. Screen image here 

You can set the VC Tray to not popup status like that by right click on it and enter Settings. But, in your case you might want to think about what kind of Trigger you are using. I would say it Trigger to often right now..

The job would normally run at 8am but I had turned it off some time last week. I activated it today and set it to run. Each task ran once only, according to my database logging for the tasks, but they all had 25 pop up messages for start and end. Normally I wouldn't be logged on to the server, but as I'm just checking that 7.0.6 will do all that I expect of it and no more, I had to use the VM server and not the client on my PC.

Ok, please right click on Tray client and choose exit. Then start it again from the start menu. Let me know if this happens again now.
