Hi

I'm trying to get the sharepoint tasks in 6.1.4 working but not having much luck. Could someone point me at the documentation for this please.

I have set up a connection to our sharepoint server with a set of credentials that usually work but I get this error in a popup:

Exception in Task: Invalid URI: The format of the URI could not be determined.

has anyone else got this working?

I WAS using the address intranet.mydomain.com and getting the same uri error. I then changed to the following in the SharePoint connection and now get a 401 authentication error.

For the connection here is what I am using (getting a 401unauthorized error):

Address: https://intranet.mydomain.com/ 
SharePoint version: SharePoint 2010
Authentication type: default
username and password are a known good set of AD credentials in the format domain\username
no proxy

Any assistance would be appreciated.

I'm clearly missing something... I dont see where the URI is entered.

I'm trying to run a 'Get Lists' task. On the 'Get Lists' tab of the task there is a dropdown containing the sharepoint connections.

If I edit that connection, I can enter a protocol and address (hostname) on the 'Main Settings' tab, the sharepoint version on the 'Sharepoint' tab, authentication, certificates and proxy on the other tabs.

I see no reference to a URL so I cant say what URI I'm using.

Please test with latest: http://www.visualcron.co....aspx?g=posts&t=2743  so we know you are running same code as us.

We tested this before release. We used Default option against a Sharepoint 2010 server. No special settings. It can only be related in what you define as username, password and domain.

We are running 6.15, and are unable to authenticate using the SharePoint connection. we have been able to connect to the SharePoint server using the WEBDAV connection, but would like to be able to administer the site using the SharePoint tasks. Has anyone successfully connected using the SharePoint connection?

Not really interested in the IIS hack/basic auth.

Which authentication is enabled then on your web site? It is a whole different thing to access through a web browser because then you use FORMS authentication. Now you need to have some kind of other authentication to connect directly.

Thanks for the suggestion, but we just went through an upgrade. We would like to upload to SP using credentials. Is there a way this can be accomplished?

• In the Sharepoint website, port 1440 we use only Windows Authentication.
  
• In Connection we use setting Sharepoint 2010 + Default authentication (Windows).
  
• In the Connection we use this address: http://ipaddress:1440
  
• In the Authencation tab we use username (without domain name - just username).
