I am using the Job/Task Control task to run a job on another server. The 'calling' job is a control job which is used to read control data and set default variables for many different jobs. it will then call the relevant Job. However, in the task when I select the Remote Server on which to run the job I have to physically select a specific job.

My question is this - I have this jobname stored in a VC variable, so is it possible to select the job name to run via a variable?

Not right now. The main reason is that it needs to be very exact on the Job Id and an open field would probably cause a lot of 'human error'. But I will move this topic to Feature requests.
