I have a job that is inactive on our server and I am trying to add an argument on the Execute tab. I add the argument and click Ok with no problem. When I go back into the task, the new argument is not there.

The task is the same task as another task in another inactive job. When I activate one of the jobs, I am able to rename the task and add the argument to the execute tab.

Try the following just for testing.

1. stop the VisualCron server service
2. start it again
3. connect with the Client
4. try the same edit Task procedure
