This is more a request for suggestions rather than a problem as such....

Can anyone recommend a way to 'interact' in real time between visual cron and our ERP solution (OpenERP)?

Natively communication in ERP is done via XMLRPC or NETRPC calls. We can use SQL however as it is Object driven, SQL is not preferred due to potential SQL Injection issues.

I would like to be able to provide production feedback to and from Visual Cron and OpenERP in Real Time. For example, when a job completes in VC, feed calculated totals in to ERP, and then ERP feeds back production data to VC for emailing?

our offer still remains on this specific Task as the Task is not that generic. We will keep this post here for a while if anyone has any suggestions. Then we will move it to Feature requests.

Yes, that is one of my options to consider but I'm not sure how messages would (or could) be delivered to/returned to VC?

So I was really looking at possible suggestions? Has anybody come across similar requirements amd how did they overcome it?
