Hi,

I gave remote access to developpers to the visualcron installed on our server. They have the VisualCron client installed on their computers and they can see and run the jobs remotely.

However, I haven't found how to restrict access to only a group of jobs. Currently everyone can see and RUN every jobs installed on the server, as long as they have remote access.

How can I restrict access based on username ?

thanks in advance.

Right now you can only control this on Job level, not a group of Jobs. Restriction is done on User group level. So, if you want different access for different users you need to place them in different groups.

thanks for the quick reply.

I did not find any interface for managing user groups. I can only see the user permissions pop-up from which I can give various privileges to users, but not on a specific job.

Am I missing something ?

A followup question...when security is based by jobs...does the end user only see the jobs that they have access too or do they still see all but can only run what they have rights to?
