Is something broken in the WebDav protocol in this version? I had a working connection to a sharepoint site to upload a file daily. This has stopped working, and I can not find any errors in the settings.

I have tested the same settings with WebDavUploadDemo.exe, and have no problem with the upload.

I get a HTTP error (erreor code is 401) in FTP Explorer on the 6.1.2 server.

Sorry Henrik, this sharepoint server is sitting behind our firewall, and it is the only server I have a job connected to.

This job was working when it was set up, but suddenly stopped working (maybe when the upgrade to 6.1.2 was done. It is not a critcal job at this time, but was supposed to be in production now.

If you know a way I could test this against another server I could do that?

I just installed a 6.0.9 version on my computer, and tested the upload there, and it works fine...

I think, in 6.1.2, that we support a range of different authentications. Could you please verify so that you test with the right authentication in the WebDAV connection?

I have two options in 6.1.2, basic or digest, I have tried both, none works.

I just did a test with the 6.0.9 version:

6.0.9 -- working
upgrade to 6.1.2 -- not working
upgrade to 6.1.3 (beta) -- not working
downgrade to 6.1.1 -- working

We have indeed made changes in 6.1.2. I tested with that one and it worked for me. It might be something different how we handle settings. Could you please post Connection->Main screen and Upload settings (target folder) here?

By the way, when I test WebDAV I test it against a free account that I created at http://cloudsafe.com

Sorry Henrik, not shure what you want with the:

" Could you please post Connection->Main screen and Upload settings (target folder) here?"

At this moment I have just made a "Connection", an try to establish contact with Explorer.

( deleted the original job )

I assume you get the error in the Task you created. I would like to see the settings of the Task.

http://vgintra/nyheter/VG i Dag

this is the adress for the server in "connections":

http://vgintra/nyheter/VG i Dag

(this is internal server)

-- is this what you want?

Does it make a difference if you add an ending slash / in the Task?

Strange, 401 error is a authorization error.

Is this service requiring basic auth?

yes, it is set to basic at the moment, but I also tried with digest.

As I said, it works with 6.0.9 and 6.1.1 version. There it is no choice, so what is the autentichation there?

on my testcomputer I can just leave settings as is, and "downgrade" to 6.1.1 , and it works again.

if I then upgrade to 6.1.2, it stops working...

Right, the code is totally rewritten. We have to create some kind of test application for you to see what goes wrong. Could you please send log_serverDATE.txt after failing again - to support@visualcron.com?

thanks
