I just activated an Event Trigger (don't ever use these), and I got a message to do this. What does it mean?

The setting means that it forces VisualCron to process one item at a time. This is important if you use Result Variables, like which file was created. Otherwise there will be impossible to synchronize result to another Task.

Look at the File Trigger tutorial for more information.

I don't use Result Variables for this job. Which is more efficient? Seems to be that one at a time would be less so.

What are you going to use this Job for? Which Task? Because it is hard to use it without that checked unless you are doing something special.

It's a job that watches for files to be created, then uploads them to an SFTP server and then moves the file to another folder.

Ok, after looking at the the setting it is under, I understand better.

Yes, in your case you should definitely check this because you want to use the result Variables so it copies that exact new file.
