We would like to pass a full file path from a trigger in job 1 as an input into job 2. Is it possible, and if yes how would you go about doing it?

I would temporary store it in a Variable. Use the Set Variable Task to do this. Make sure you check "Translate to constant".

In the latest beta 6.1.9 you have something called Job Variables. They can be set at Job level and in the Job/Task control Task.
