I have a task that requires me to send a file prefixed with '//'.
The ftp task in VisualCron will not permit me to send special characters as part of the send command.
The file on the sending server is: "D.UTT.C7298.RP240.MNTH"

The name I'm trying to upload as is: "//D.UTT.C7298.RP240.MNTH"

So, just so I understand right, you have a local file called "D.UTT.C7298.RP240.MNTH" but you want to upload it as "//D.UTT.C7298.RP240.MNTH" or just upload it as it is and rename it later?

The name I'd like to upload is "//D.UTT.C7298.RP240.MNTH".
There is an application on the ftp server that is checking for special characters...in this cas '//' to intercept the file before it gets saved on the server and send it to another server for special processing. So , the file needs to go across with the "//" preceding the name.

Ok, this is currently not possible but I will move this to Feature requests.
