I've tried both the above in a file exclusion, but it only excludes a file called soap.log with soap.* . Correct me if I'm wrong, but shouldn't it exclude the file as well when using soap*.*?

Running v6.06 using the delete files task.

Bump.

Why is this being ignored?

Hi,

this is not being ignored. Just needed to have some verification back from developers.

You are correct test*.* expects two things. Both an extension and any character after test.

I am moving this topic to Feature requests.

I downloaded the new version 6.09, but the problem still persists. Will it be available in 6.10?

Unfortunately this still does not work.

Putting soap*.* in the exclude file mask ("Use files exclusion" is ticked) still returns soap.log and soap.xml when clicking the Test tab and then Show filtered files.

Putting soap.log and soap.xml directly in the exclude file mask list works though.

You are right, we fixed on test case but it did not work with this. We have to go back to the drawing board and fix this. Thank you for your patience.

Post #13 refers to the same link as post #6. Has the original 6.1Beta been replaced with another?

Yes, it has. In beta stage we update the release a number of times.
