We use an email notification that should send an attachment from a remote location.
We add the credentials to the file filter and the Testbutton will show the correct file.

When the job is run and the notification will trigger no email will be send.
When we remove the attachment the email will be send.

In the logfile:
3/21/2012 11:49:47 AM Err Error sending email: Access to the path '\servername\share\folder' is denied.

Is it a bug? Or am I missing something?

We tested this with 6.0.8 with no problems. There must be something with the Credential. Is the VisualCron service running as 'SYSTEM'?

We solved the issue by creating a second (email) task in the same job.

There is nothing wrong with the credentials, but when using an email notification with a (remote) attachement with credentials it's not working.

Strange, we just tested remote attachment with Credential and it worked. Perhaps you are not using a UNC path or maybe your path contains a "hidden" folder.

We did use a unc path, and the same path with the same credentials are working when we use a different emailtask.
We also recreated the task and the credentials and the notification, but the problem stays.

The weird part is that the test button did work.

Maybe it's because the job is also running with the same credentials?

Anyhow, it's working with a 2nd task, so it's not really a problem at the moment.

We're using version 6.0.9, Build 17299
