Hello I'm having trouble with a very basic item but I can't seem to solve.

I have a reference to a webservice that expects System.Xml.XmlNode. When I click 'Value Preview' I am not able to enter text, like when I do with primitive types, I only get a screen that says.
Complex type entry.
Type Name: System.Xml.XmlNode
ParameterName : XmlPayload
A text area (readonly) with an icon and XmlPayload[System.Xml.XmlNode]
and an OK button.

Regular/Left/Right clicking everywhere didn't help and hitting all keys didn't do anything either.

Can someone please help me with this silly newbie question?

I think that object type is to complex to handle. We handle normal value types and objects with normal value types.
