Hi Support

I am using an FTP task and trying to assign the FTP Source Folder using fixed and variable values as follows:

/cust2b/CTS_{DATEFORMAT(yyyyMMdd)}

which should translate to the folder named:

/cust2b/CTS_20111229

However, it doesn't seem to be working as the FTP task is defaulting to the last fully hardcoded folder name which was defined.

IS it possible to use VC variables in the source folder field?

I am not sure what you are saying. We did a simple test and the Variable remained in the field "source folder" and that means it will be translated every time the Task is run.

Very strange - It doesn't seem to work when I try it, and the FTP task doesn't return anything in STDOUT or STDERR so I don't know what the problem might be. I will try and redefine the task in case I got something wrong in there.

If you don't get any errors I assume that the folder is there but it contains no files or the filter is wrong.
