Hi,

I tried this version and tried to add an assembly task.
It took much more time tha before, but the result is the same: No methods found in my DLL.

With the latste build I am able to add an assembly task.
There is still an issue of execute time here.

An easy .NET operation takes 0.3 seconds to complete.
The same code in a dll takes more than 2 seconds to complete, that's more than 7 times slower.
This wasn't the case in version 6.

Can you make this quick again?

Erik

Hi,

I just received an email of you and I want to share this with the rest:
Quote:

Yes, there is a huge difference. In version 6 we executed withing the VisualCron service. This gave us a lot of problems as loaded references and dlls cannot be unloaded. If you wanted to update a dll you had to restart the VC service. To avoid this we are now executing assemblies in their own processes. This requires process execution and communication between VC server and process. Takes a bit longer to initiate.

I created the dll for easy change of code in all my tasks. With this delay I have to go back to the .NET task, but than I come bank to a previous topic of me: .NET tasks

Is there a feature for this?

Erik

In 7.6.1, when I change the "All" selection in the grid filter for jobs to either "Active" or "Inactive", that would cause the client to crash. This appears to be fixed in 7.6.2. I am able to filter on inactive jobs without the client crashing. However, I did notice that when changing any of the filtering options for jobs or tasks, the resulting list of jobs are automatically expanded to show the tasks within each job. I'm not sure what version introduced this change, but going back to 7.2.1 (which is our current production version), the jobs would not automatically expand when changing the grid filter options. Is it possible to change it so that jobs aren't automatically expanded when changing the grid filter options? Thanks.

I noticed after installing yesterday's 7.6.2 build, the following duplicate debug notifications are output to the server log when closing the client. I've installed the latest 7.6.2 build this morning and this is still occurring. What change caused this and why is the same notification output 3 times? It's not causing any issues when closing the client. I'm just concerned with the server log file getting filled up with unnecessary data.

I just installed the latest build. Now there are 2 logging messages instead of 3. Both are basically the same except the first one has a date/time stamp in the message (with an incorrect value for the hour).
