hi all,
i plan to use visualcron on a W2003server but i got a big problem in testing product.

server install is correct and i am able to connect a client to the server part.

but on shutdown and restart server, service not autmaticaly start, i was obliged to start it mannually

log say :

Le service VisualCron 4 n'a pas pu démarrer en raison de l'erreur :
Le système attend qu'un processus ouvre l'autre extrémité du canal.

google translate:
The service VisualCron 4 could not start because of the error:
The system waits a process opens the other end of the canal.

VisualCron is dependant on WMI - the service Windows Management Instrumentation. Is that service started? Do you get any other errors in the Event Viewer before or after?

Is the startup of your Windows 2003 really slow? You can change timeout values for services. Try increasing the value like the describe on this page:

Strange issue. I wonder what the "real" english translation is for that error. Also, what happens if you set a retry rule on the service?

Have you tried this on another server?
