Hello

I have a job which has an event trigger attached. It monitors a folder and when a file is saved in the folder with a specific name it emails the file to a third party.

Looking in the log file, I can see that 2 identical emails are being sent even though the task is only in the job once.

Any advice on how I can stop the email job duplicating?

Regards

Bob

You should have "Created" only. Perhaps you have option "Changed" which will generate multiple triggering.

Hello

I have checked the trigger is only ticked in the Created box. Changed is not ticked.

Any other suggestion would be much appreciated.

Thanks

Turn on extended debugging in server settings->log. Let it trigger twice. Then check the log file, if you cannot find out why there then please send the file to support@visualcron.com telling us the time and name of file that was dropped.

One important thing, do you have the latest version of VisualCron? I ran into something like this in the past, but it was, I believe, version 6.0.6 or so. I have not had this issue on 6.1.4 or newer.
