We have installed VisualCron on two servers in seperate building with seperate licenses. Now the one installed on the Disater Recovery site will be in "server off" mode for the VisualCron service. In case of the primary site failing, someone would physically log in to the DR site and click on the "server on" within the VisualCron interface.

The question is.. what is the proper way to keep the DR server in SYNC with the MAIN server (as far as VisualCron is concerned). Will a nightly copy of the "settings" folder from the MAIN server to the DR server do it? Or is there any other recommended way?

Thanks

You could copy all the settings (exclude license.xml). Or you could, for backup purposes and later import, use the Export Task which will export all settings in a zip format which is importable by VisualCron.
