Hello,

I recently upgraded a beta server to VC 5.2.0. I connect to the server using a client from 5.1.2. I get the following error:

Client "protocol" is obsolete.

If I upgrade my client box to 5.2.0 will I still be able to connect to the older 5.1.2 servers?

No you need to upgrade old servers then. Protocol was last changed in version 5.1.3.
