The remote file functionality in 6.1.3 is exciting, but I'm having difficulty thinking through a particular scenario - pulling new export files from barcode scanners. I know that several of our scanners will be out of wireless range throughout the course of any given day, and sometimes for several days at a time (on job sites). I would like to set them all up with event based triggers but that doesn't appear feasible. How might I best accommodate these random periods, of unknown length away from wireless connectivity?

Two things, I just need to confirm the remote protocol here because the Remote file trigger currently supports FTP and SFTP but maybe that is the protocol of your scanners?

Second, you can set retry times and interval on the remote file trigger so it will reconnect if it can't connect.
