Hi,

I would like to be able to have a notification on the status(result) of execution of a job.

For now I have to make a notifiction for each task contained in the job... :(

Is there a solution ?

Also, I would love a generic notification, fir "active job" so I can add this notification to all my jobs :)

Thanks in advance

This is possible. You create a Notification, open the Variables window, browser through the tree VisualCron->Jobs->Active->Output. This can be reused for all Jobs.

My VisualCron is in French
But the variables are in English, so please can you give me directly the variable ?

What I think yu are talking about is : {JOB(Active,Status)}, but it does not work : it always say "waiting", even at the end of execution... 😞

Both if them do not work...

I tried to copy the variables, but they do not appear in the list, and there is nothing in my notification...

I would say that. What is changed is the API and Client interface mostly. And the Server part have some bug fixes. We will roll it out fully this weekend.

It is important to know that you must upgrade all Clients as well as the new version cannot communicate with the old due to protocol changes.

Last little question:
Since you added {JOB(Active,Result)} variable, I can use this generic notification for all my jobs, but is there a possibility to make the notification file name change for each job ?
I would like to have a notification file name corresponding to the job name...Do I have to make a notification for each job, or can I use a variable in the file name ?

Thanks

No, you can use one Notification: {JOB(Active,Name)}
