I have created a custom variable that gives me the date in yearmonthday (20091020). I created a filter to attach files that are stored in the folder c:\logs\<variable> (c:\scripts\20091020\) with a mask 8f tyler*.log. If I run test it always shows the correct filter and emails with attachment. However, when the real job kicks off, there are never any attachments. Any ideas why? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest creating a File write Task that writes the whole path + Variable to a file - just to confirm the file name. Also, I think you need to do some confirmation that the file is really there when the real Job kicks off (which seems to be the problem).
