We have just upgraded our test and production servers, and are now running Visual Cron 9.9.8.

The old server was running with UAC disabled without issue, now that new servers are provisioned IT-SEC is questioning the need for us to run in UAC disabled mode. We have seen first hand that not all jobs will run when UAC is enabled (running an exe), and have seen some other inconsistencies.

To be clear, we are currently running with UAC disabled, but are seeking your advice on whether Visual Cron can be run in UAC enabled mode, and what we might need to do to allow this.

It is related to permissions, so if it is enabled, make sure you're using VC as an administrator/admin permissions,

Also, you can do this when it comes to using credentials:
Enable Extended debugging in Server settings->Log and then open the Credential you use and change from CreateProcessWithLogonW to CreateProcessAsUserW. That will work for local executions.

"make sure you're using VC as an administrator/admin permissions" - by this do you mean the account the Visual Cron service runs under? It is currently running under "Local System." When you configure the service in windows, there is an option to "Log on as" where you can specify a different user. Are you suggesting we enter a more highly permissioned user this way?

"change from CreateProcessWithLogonW to CreateProcessAsUserW" - can I try this change independently to the above change?

Which one should I try first?
