I have a job that uses File - Write to append a line of text and a visualcron variable.

When the job runs, it appends garbage that looks like Chinese script to the file.

I use File write multiple times in this job alone without error.

Right before you write the variable out to the file, display it with an interactivity/popup task. Make sure it contains what you think it does before writing it out to the file. Maybe post that text here in case it's recognizable? I'm thinking control characters perhaps?

My job has 47 tasks, I use that variable about 15 times prior to using in the very last step where it writes the garbage.

Where does the data that makes up the value of the variable come from? It's being set to unexpected data, maybe unicode? Is it in a loop where the variable is getting changed each iteration and this time you get the unexpected data? Or is the variable set once at the start and it's getting stomped on? If you can, look at the hex value of the variable data to see the true data. It may provide a clue.
