I can individually step thru the tasks of a job just fine but when I run the job as a whole an SFTP download tasks gets silently skipped. The "last run" time is not updated. I see nothing in the log that indicates it's got a reason for skipping a task, the task is just silently omitted. There are no conditions and no unique flow rules.

I will continue researching but I thought I'd do a post real quick.

P.S. I searched the forum but couldn't develop any search terms that seemed to give me what I was needing.

The 2nd task did not execute along with the rest of the job. What should I be looking for?

I would try to copy only the second task into a separate job, and run it with extensive debugging. That way you are eliminating all kind of 'noise' (flow, triggers, time exceptions, conditions - whatever) from the main job. If it works, there is something wrong with the main job. If not, there is something wrong with the task itself. I would start there.

Make sure you upgrade to 8.2.7 because we had an issue which could affect this.

What if you just open the Job window and then press OK (to re-save it). Still skipping?

You probarly created the job or task in version 8.2.6, than upgraded to version 8.2.7.
If that is the case than exactly whan Henric said, open the task and resave it.
