All jobs error out with the return error code -1073741502. Reboot computer, jobs run for one day. The next day all jobs again fail with the above return error code. After jobs fail with this code, they can't be run manually from the command line, until reboot.
Despite having the VisualCron service marked automatic and restart no matter how many times it's gone down, it can go down. The operting system is Windows 7. Our network administrator re installed .NET 3.5 and 4.0 yesterday. My network addministrator also cleaned out the event logs, so I don't have a lot there to add.

Fouund this on the web on error code -1073741502:
3221225794
0xC0000142
-1073741502 The application failed to initialize properly.
Indicates that the application has been launched on a Desktop to which current user has no access rights. Another possible cause is that either gdi32.dll or user32.dll has failed to initialize.

Getting a lot of event ID 1000 interactive service messages for cscript.exe and cmd.exe Any clues on a fix?

Hi,

We just upgraded Visual Cron to version 7.1.2 and we get the same error (cscript.exe call and error code -1073741502)

Do you have any update on this topic?

Thank you

Please try the following:

1. stop the VisualCron service
2. edit the VisualCron service in "Services" window. Check "Interact with desktop"
3. reboot the server
4. please try the Task again

We did some research about exit code -1073741502 and we found 2 possible solutions:

1. Go to administrative tools->Local security policy. Set SYSTEM user with Logon as batch Job. Reboot. Try Task again.
2. Disable UAC. Reboot computer. Try Task again.
