My VC instance lives in AD domain B. There is a one way trust with Domain A.

I have a file copy task that is attempting to copy from a share in AD domain A to a share in Domain B. For testing purposes I also tried copying to a share on the same machine in A with same issues.

When the copy task executes, it returns:

"Exception in Task: The system detected a possible attempt to compromise security. Please ensure that you can contact the server that authenticated you.

Exception in Task: No file(s) copied"

When I do a the "Test -> show filtered files", it accesses the share in domain A and lists the files correctly.

In vcron 6.0.2 everything works.

In vcron 6.0.8 I get the above error.

I 6.08. I have tried with "local login" wetting on and off. Same behavior.

I am not seeing how this even worked before. The problem, in this case, is that you need two Credentials. One for Server A and one for Server B. We have thought about adding this support. It is not easy as two threads cannot use two Credentials.

The cross-domain copy works fine in 6.0.2 and prior. We have lots of jobs that copy files cross domain.

I would think that with the domain trust in place this should work.

I am getting a different error today in 6.0.8:

"Exception in Task: Could not find a part of the path"

I copied the same task from 6.0.2 to 6.0.8 (same source and dest locations and same credentials).

I got the cross-domain copy to work in 6.0.8

The "trick" was to NOT use the "Local login" and "Load user profile" options on the credentials. I swore I tried that previously.
