Hi,

We are current on our license/support, but haven't upgraded VisualCron in a couple of years.

What steps do we need to take in order to upgrade from version 4.9.40 to the latest version 6.0.3?

We only use VisualCron to run our Windows batch jobs for specific schedules and don't use any of the other advanced features (i.e. certificates, notifications, etc.).

Do we need to export the VisualCron settings (which includes our job and task names), uninstall version 4.9.40, install version 6.0.3 and import all of our settings again?

Please advise.

Thanks.

You should export settings to another backup location. VisualCron 6 will import current settings.

VisualCron 6 will deactivate the VisualCron 4 service and install VisualCron 6. You can manually uninstall version 4 when you are complete.
