When deleting a user we do get a warning that any associated jobs with that user will no longer be. I'd like to request that when a user is deleted it should be internally retained but disabled. This way we will still be able to track the job's creation and modification history.

You can disable a user instead of deleting.

We agree with this request, if a user is deleted the fact that the user created a job should not be removed with them.
We prefer to delete rather than disable users, for example where someone has left our organisation
